to students of all ages is a very rewarding experience. You

January 1999 - Rank beginners
March 1999 - Our school held a tournament among all
the local branches.
April 1999 - These pictures show us with
purple belts. I know they look blue but that is an artifact
of the digital camera.
May 1999 - Those purple belts still look a bit blue,
even though these were taken with a different camera. These were taken
by a professional photographer that came to the school. Can you say "posed"?
October 1999 - UKKSA held another tournament at the
Air Force Academy. This time, Kelsey and I competed as blue belts.
June 2000 - My very first UKKSA seminar. Flanking
me are Chief Instructor Garland Johnson and Chief Instructor Bridget Johnson.
August 2000 - Kelsey at her promotion ceremony to Green Belt. On
the left is Instructor Jon Yates. In the middle is Senior Chief Instructor
Garland Johnson and on the right is her dad.
February 2001 - Kelsey's promotion to Brown Belt.
To her left is Andre Johnson, the son of Chief Instructors Garland and
Bridget Johnson.
